Heaviest Fish Awards


Biggest fish trophy, awarded to the heaviest fish caught from boat or shore within club waters or while fishing a club match outside club waters.

Moore Trophy, awarded to the junior catching the heaviest fish from the shore inside club waters.

Kinmel Cup, awarded to the lady member catching the heaviest fish from the shore within Welsh waters.

Watson Hoyle Trophy, awarded to the club member catching the heaviest fish on an artificial lure from the shore within club waters.

Ivor Evans Trophy, awarded to the heaviest Flounder caught in Welsh waters from boat or shore.

Specimen Fish awards


Fish of the year Trophy, awarded to the best specimen fish taken while fishing from boat or shore, within club waters. Fish are calculated against the club record list, not the specimen weight for each species.

1 other small error, april fish of the month {boat} should be elwyn jones, not alwyn, good show. but he is gutted you spelt his name wrongly.

Bob has had a cracking year, must be his best ever.
Stan did you notice that Elwyn has won the Whincup trophy for the best specimen outside of club waters with his 3-14-0 ballan wrasse.

yes garry i did notice, and elwyn has phoned four times to make sure i got in touch with kev. i think he will be on the phone to you when he comes home from the club. i hope the blue boat will be able to come and fish with you in 2009, but i can not turn down the sunday work up in scotland, = £££££ = more beer.m/m/m.

flower I must agree with Gary, Bob has had a good year it must have something to do with the coaching hes been getting,he also had a very good man on the net as for the bass well we all have a bit of luck dont we flower

The Committee have decided to hold the annual presentation night at the clubhouse Rhos on Sea on Saturday June 20th, Kicking off at 20-00hrs, the actual presentation will be upstairs in the committee room followed by a cold buffet and one of Steve's chilli's for the more adventurous amongst us, a karaoke has been booked for the evening and there will be a late bar.
Entry, buffet and the entertainment are all free to club members so get yourselves down there and let's make a night of it drunken drunken drunken
